About Me

My photo
Erin O'Donnell
Melbourne, Australia
This blog is a space to explore some of the exciting developments in legal rights for rivers, environmental water management, and the ways that environmental water managers are learning to use the opportunities created by water markets. Of course, markets are sometimes not a great fit for environmental values, and I'm just as interested in the potential constraints as the opportunities. You can find me on twitter @ezzyod

I've been working in water resource management since 2002, and I have a PhD in environmental water law and governance. If you want to read some of my more official work, you can find my thesis at the University of Melbourne Law School.

I've used my new book to create the word art I use in the banner, which brings together many of the themes I will be discussing here. Thanks to wordle.net for the great word art!
